Nottingham Photo Social & Exhibition Opening - Wed 29th Jan @ 6pm

This is our first month back this year and we wanted to start it with a bang 💥

This time we are combining our monthly photo social event with an exceptional exhibition from one of our members and social attendees ‘Safina Jawed’.

Both the social and event will start at 6pm and wrap up around 9pm as usual, however there will be a portion of the next dedicated to the opening of Safina’s show “Beyond Media Portrayal”

Beyond Media Portrayal is a photographic journey through the cultures of Pakistan, Jordan, and Egypt, showcasing life in quieter moments seldom reported. Each image delivers a story of human connection within the settings of vast geological formations.

The people captured in the work reflect our deeper human truth: we thrive when reconnected with the physical world, slowing down to a mindful pace. In these shared moments, we find our most authentic selves, disconnected from the distractions of the digital realm and political agendas.

This is also an opportunity to catch up with your peers, share work and ideas and, as always, there will be a table out to share work and our staff will be around to support.
